Presented as a case analogous to one published by Dr. Armand Després in the Revue in 1870 (vide intra: »»). The plate represents a drawing of the fundus of a 37 year-old soldier who had a congenital absence of the iris in both eyes and a triangle shaped coloboma in his left eye, impinging the macula lutea. No deficiency of vision noted except for a sensitivity to glaring sunlight.
